A place online for educators.
TeacherSheet.com came about as I was putting together a presentation for a conference. For the most part, I always enjoy going to conferences and/or meaningful professional development and learn something new most of the time. Typically, I would go back home all fired up about trying some new things in the classroom just to just to find myself overwhelmed with school starting and the fact that there are not enough hours in the day.
Sadly, that "fired-up-ness" soon went away. I would email those I met at the out of town conferences once in a while, but they were busy too. Soon the new thing(s) I wanted to try went on the back burner.
If there was only a place I could keep up with my network of educator friends that was easy and convenient for everyone. Hopefully, this will be the place.
The intent is to have a wiki and forum for us to keep in touch and update as we can.
